laminate, also known as high-pressure laminate, is the most widely
utilized countertop material and is popular for its easy maintenance and
affordability. There are an abundance of colors and patterns available.

most common
laminate finishes are matte, and gloss. Special textured finishes
are also available such as Formica's Sparkle,
Etchings, and Honed finishes. All brands
indicate the finish with a hyphen followed by a number or
letter.
